She takes weightlifting class and works year-round to improve her setter’s game and build her team for the fall season. Greta throws shot in Varsity track, as well as strength training at home with her dad. She leads the Jesus Loves You Club on Friday mornings and builds the Kingdom in her fundraising work, summer volunteering, and church participation. Mindset Coaching ✨
Mindset Coaching is more than performance—it’s about purpose.
We built our foundation through prayer, encouragement, and real connection. In Theology class and on the court, we reminded each other why God brought us together: to love one another, support each other, and pray for one another.
Because at the end of the day, the scoreboard isn’t what matters most.
It’s how we show up for each other.
How we serve.
How we grow in faith, hope, and charity.
This team lived that out.
Sam Kotasek dominated as a power forward with relentless rebounding and daily hustle.
Sim led the team in prayer, creating a contagious joy that helped launch her path to Harvard.
Liv Davis brought unstoppable offensive energy, lighting up the crowd and continuing her career at University of Tampa Women’s Basketball.
Jordyn Byrd, a two-time Gatorade Player of the Year in volleyball, led as a center before going on to play at University of Texas and University of Florida—and she’s still dominating the net. (She offers private volleyball lessons in the summer—reach out directly to train with one of the best.)
Kali Barrett was a force on both ends of the court and now competes at University of Cincinnati.
Josie Maloni led with faith and grit—locking down defense, creating steals, and hitting clutch 3s.
Kennedy elevated everyone around her as a shooter, playmaker, and steady court presence.
Our seniors set the tone with poise, leadership, and a level of character that inspired everyone around them.
Guided by Coach Rico’s mindset—
“Be in the Shoes You’re In” and “Block Out the Noise”—
this group went on to win state championships in the years that followed.
And players like Bri Behn, one of the most dynamic offensive talents in program history, carried that legacy forward—leading with quiet confidence, skill, and heart.
The Real Win 💛
These athletes didn’t just become great players.
They became strong, faith-filled women who lead in their communities and know exactly who they serve: God.
